A POSSIBLE DARK SIDE IN THE JOHN SNOW PUB

Comptons Of Soho during London Gay Pride 2010

A MORE GAY FRIENDLY SITE OF SOHO ...

I just have read a post at http://zefrog.blogspot.com/2011/04/musings-on-john-snow-pub-events.html that brings to me awareness of a series of possible facts that seem to be to be quite dark. I recommed this post. We will have to wait to see if things can be so dark as it could seem.

By the way, have you visited www.johnsnowpub.co.uk ?

HOMOPHOBIC POSTS ABOUT THE KISSING OUT OF THE JOHN SNOW PUB

John Snow, Soho, W1

I have not read any post that I could consider homophobic against yesterday kiss in outside the John Snow Pub but I have read some posts that make me realise that some people give a damm about gay human rights.

Let me explain.

It seems that there are people who do not find right that some newspapers give so much importance to the gay kiss in. They argue that most terrible things are happening like the policies of Cameron, etc.

Well, I know this discourse quite well. It is the same discourse of the communist parties decades ago: they had nothing against the gays but it was better not to have gay among them.

To all these people that find ridiculous giving so much importance to the kiss in at the John Snow Pub I just will tell them the following:

You are right: the fact that a couple was thrown out of a pub in Soho is not the most important thng that has happened on Earth these last centuries BUT the reason why some people give importance to this is because:

REASON 1: IN SOME COUNTRIES THE GAYS ARE KILLED BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY. So it is not strange the gay people react angrily and fast to any attack to its rights. We are always on alert.

REASON 2: IN HISTORY GAYS HAVE BEEN KILLED AND PROSECUTED so it is not strange we get angry when our rights are hurt. Blood and tears has brought us to the rights we have now just in some small places of the world, like, for example, the SOHO.

So, you see, gay people are thrown out of a bar in London, we protest and we almost seem guilty for protesting because there are more important things to do? More important things to do for who? For the heterosexual society?

JOHN SNOW PUB PROTEST

Maybe I got wrong but I think that I have read that the gay couple just had a date in the John Snow Pub. Does this mean that this was the first time that they were together? I just say that because if you just meet somebody for the first time and then you begin to kiss each other, with passion maybe, it seems to me a bit weird. Love at first sight?

Anyway, I am sure that if a man and a woman begin to kiss each other on a first date maybe the landlord even gets them free drinks.

Well, I am just goint to watch chapter six of GAYXAMPLE … I think that in this chapter the action takes place in Sauna Galilea.

By the way, have you seen AIR NEW ZEALAND ad? There is also a kiss there … but nothing wrong happens!:

Some years ago two men were kissing in a bar in old Barcelona. They were asked to leave by the landlord. Some years later the same happens this time in London.

Anyway, have you seen the new web series called GAYXAMPLE?

Or, have you heard this song called LIBERTAD (freedom)?:

As you have realized this is a weird post. I begin talking about the JOHN SNOW PUB and I end with this video. I hope you do not mind. Whoever you are I just hope you enjoyed the video. And remember, GAYXAMPLE, the new gay web series made in Barcelona: www.gayxample.net

This video tells you about next chapter of Gayxample ..:

I wouldn’t like to end this post with the feeling I do not care about what happened in London. Below I leave some links. I am also sorry for the fire at Shoreditch sauna. I do not know if now it is already open. I love the swimming-pool part. I had such a nice feeling there.

Greetings from Barcelona.
